New Education Officer Joins Trust Team

Chiswick House and Gardens Trust are pleased to announce the appointment of Sorcha Ní Fóghlúda as Education and Outreach Officer

Chiswick House and Gardens Trust are pleased to announce the appointment of Sorcha Ní Fóghlúda as Education and Outreach Officer. Sorcha is an archaeology graduate who has worked in a variety of heritage organisations, including education roles at the British Postal Museum & Archives and at Keats House in Hampstead.

She will be managing the education programme, building on sessions that local schools have been successfully piloting over the last 12 months, and is already in talks with local schools to tailor future visits.

'I’m looking forward to working with the local community and all visitors to Chiswick House and the gardens, to develop inspiring learning sessions with schools, pre-schools, HE organisations and anyone else who wants to discover this exciting and interesting site.'

Director of the Chiswick House and Gardens Trust,Sarah Finch-Crisp said, 'We are delighted that Sorcha has joined the Trust team to lead our schools service, which local schools have done so much to help shape.  Education is at the heart of the Trust’s work and Chiswick has such a lot to offer children of all ages.'
